Artists, performers, designers, handcrafters and other human beings involved with creative recycling, send your projects to DRAP ART ´08
PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS You can present projects for one or several of the following modalities:
- Interventions in public space (Plaça dels Àngels / Pati de les Dones)
- Workshop of live creation (Pati de les Dones / CCCB_Hall)
- Drap-Art group show of recycling artists (CCCB_Sala -1) (Drap Art will receive 30% of the retail price of the sold art works)
- Shows (theatre, puppets, dance, concerts or performances) (CCCB_Auditori, Hall)
- Audiovisuals (CCCB_Auditori, Hall)
- Art, design and crafts Market. Registration fee 180 € per table (180 x 80cm + 2 chairs). 10% discount for Drap-Art members
Two artworks of the exhibition will be selected for the "Residu’Art" Prize, awarded by the HERA Group for the "Student" and "Professional" categories, endowed with 1.000€ and 2.000€, respectively.
The projects must be presented in form of a dossier containing the following:
- CV or concise biography
- Declaration of intentions (Why do you do what you do?)
- Description of your project, product or artistic work
- At least 4 photos in high resolution (300 dpi) on paper and CD
- A list of the objects with the final price (in the exhibition and market)
- A CD, DVD or video if you are presenting a show or audiovisual
- A budget for the interventions in public space and the shows
Deadline: The projects must arrive before June 21st 2008 at La Carboneria, Drap-Art Gallery, Groc 1, 08002 Barcelona.
