Last days!

Art and science

We want to share with you the programming of the Conference on Art and Science that will be held this Friday, December 17 in the framework of the Conference on research in service learning (ApS) and community pedagogy in art in collaboration with the University of Barcelona , with guests from other universities, professors, artists, academics, among others a presentation by Eduardo Hernández relating Drap-Art to the philosophy of Walter Benjamin, a round table on the role of the Balearic Islands in the change towards a more sustainable world, made with the support of the Balearic Foundation.

We are also pleased to present Jessica Fairfax Hirst who presents her high-performance audiovisual Beyond Binaries.

The collective work of the first year students of Fine Arts at the UB, Cadirem will also be on display from 16 to 18 December in Plaça del Rei.

I’m still standing!

Christmas is approaching, which implies that the closing of the festival is also approaching.

The artistic installations in public spaces still stand in various Gothic places, in Carrer d’en Carabassa it is illuminated by the installation of Diferent Design, No Cage. It will be on display until December 26, 2021. 

At the Pati Llimona you can visit the work that ACC Crew created during the opening concert and that they did together with the primary school students from Angel Baixeras during the Graffiti workshop.

Nature takes the form of objects and moves to the city center with the works of Lesley Yendell, A Clean Sweep and Tea for Two, which will still be on display until 6 January in the courtyard of the Frederic Marés museum.

 

It will also be one of  the last Saturday that the market is in the plaça Reial, before it goes into hibernation until spring!

Last but not least…!

On Tuesday, December 21 at 6:30 pm we invite you to the Plaza de la Merced to celebrate Rebirth-Day as part of the project The Third Paradise of Cittadellarte – Pistoletto Foundation in collaboration with the Colla dels Diables de Ciutat Vella and a date so close to the new year could not be more appropriate, and so start thinking about New Year’s resolutions.

 

 

Finally, we have fun for the whole family: the Mima children’s theater with the superheroines of sustainability in Plashtik Boom! From 19 to 20:30 at the Real Cercle Artístic, A show dedicated to the youngest fans of Drap-Art.
