New YouTube Cannel :: Reminder call for artists

We would like to present our new YouTube Channel to you with more than 50 videos already posted, from the first reports in 1996 and 1997 to the last ones in 2019.

We also want to inform you that the deadline for our Call for Confined Artists will be prolonged until next Monday, June 22 and recommend you to watch the video published here because we think it can serve as a source of inspiration for those of you who still want to present a project. Remember, your work and reflections should be the result of these months of confinement.

Drap-Art has always promoted artists who not only use discarded materials in their works, but also have a philosophy of life which is simpler, less consumerist, more in tune with their environment and nature. They are not environmental activists, but their way of living is more sustainable. They do not start so much from preconceived ideas when they start a work, but rather listen to the objects they want to give a second life to. Perhaps this is one of the key points to reach a new normality that is more socially, economically and environmentally sustainable: listening to the object, to nature, to the other.

Dear Drap-Art friends,

We also recommend the documentations Stromboli and Giravolt from 1996, the Canal + feature from 1997, and the Medi Ambient report from 2006, but browse through, there is a lot to see!

We hope you enjoy the videos, and don’t forget to subscribe to our new channel to follow our latest updates and give us a thumbs up if you like our content!

Thank you
