Since 1995, Drap-Art has been raising awareness of environmental and social issues by promoting art created from discarded materials and creative recycling. The association has been present in more than 16 countries and over the years, the project has spread to the Americas. Drap-Art’s activities include the annual festival in Barcelona, workshops, competitions and recurring events in Montevideo, Pittsburgh and Buenos Aires, disseminating the work of more than 1500 artists. Drap-Art’s work has been noticed by national and international media.
