Orson Buch (Paris, 1967)
Born as the son of German artists living between Paris and Formentera, Orson was born in Paris and grew up on the island from 1970 to 1982. He then returned to Paris to finish his studies, and still lives there. He also spends time in Formentera and Sa Pobla de Benifassar, a mountain village in Castellón. His first solo exhibition was scheduled in New York in 1988. Since then, he has exhibited in France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Uruguay, the United States and Spain.
A few years ago, inspired by a trip to Africa, next to his painting, he began to make tin sculptures, depicting animals, created with minimal intervention of materials, respecting some of the original objects.
